Episode 41: There's No Such Thing as a Bad Guy
“I was firmly determined that I must not let Hero-sama die, and that I must save his life at all costs.”
Fiona said with a very noble expression, typical of someone who is trying to fulfill a mission.
In my travels with my Hero party, I've seen many aspiring people dedicate their lives to such missions, so I know when I see one.
“Y-Yeah, and?”

“No, no. I still want to be honest with Alice and tell her what happened. The fact that I tried so hard and ended up having an affair with Fiona are two completely different things. Above all, I don't want to lie to Alice.”
If Alice hates me as a result of my honesty, so be it.
If I am called a cheater, I will accept it wholeheartedly.
Even so, I believe that the most important thing is to be sincere and tell the truth about what happened.

Incidentally, this was an inn located in the eastern end of the autonomous region where we fought the Giant Grizzly.
Apparently, the Knights had set up a perimeter and were waiting for me to recover.
So, after another successful mission, I returned home with Fiona to Alice’s house.
